Just because you can (i.e. the tech enables), doesn’t mean you should introduce yourself by way of a DM (without so much as a hello and how are you or at the very least, a “like” on a recent post), with a lengthy life story (which requires a lot of scrolling), followed by an outrageously large ask (I mean, you haven’t even LIKED one of my posts yet!).
Patience is a virtue when making connections, even when those connections are made virtually.
