From My Inbox: Who Is Julia?

I verified my profile on Linkedin and the J in J Kelly showed up. The J is a real J (someone did ask that once). My name, is my great grandmother's name. She was feisty and wise, lived to 101 - so, yes, I'm planning to honor her name for a long while.
Names. Titles. It has me wondering. Who and what do we trust? Is the real person the β verified one or one we've always presented? Does a β provide confidence in the content? Is a person with a β more trustworthy than the person with a history of posting and engagement?
Then this. Why on earth did my parents think it was a smart idea to call their middle child (me) by her middle name?
With that...here's what I've got from my inbox this week:
